(WaMu Theater) Marijuana enthusiasts Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa, bring their Wellness Retreat (“Inhale/Exhale/Relax”) to Seattle tonight in order to celebrate 4/20 on 4/19. There’s not a whole lot of information out there regarding what attendees might expect, other than that Snoop, Wiz, and โAdditional Special Guestsโ will be there dispensing their blazinโ-est rap hits, chron-positive verses will be off the hizzle, and marijuana is likely to be celebrated in general. The following night, the boys join(t) forces with YG and Smoke DZA at Red Rocks in Colorado, which seems a venue much more conducive to the low-pressure cloud front that’s sure to materialize when the music starts. (Crocodile) Loosely affiliated with the A$AP Mob and Joey Bada$$โs Pro Era crew, Brooklynโs Underachievers (rappers AK and Issa Gold) attack the mic with the refreshing hunger of New Yorkโs golden era of upstart spitters. The difference is in the subject matter: the โChievers weave tales about the wonders of LSD and girls and Afro-mysticism with the tangential air of our endlessly Wiki’ed age, occasionally delivering verses in a sing-songy cadence similar to Chance the Rapper or the Nuyorican crew (even going so far as to crib Souls of Mischief’s eternal “93 ‘Til Infinity” beat for a track). On their first two mixtapes, Indigoism and The Lords of Flatbush, the production served as a fun-house mirror of traditional boom bap, with cloudy synths and lush slow-mo samples serving as half-time beds for AK and Issa’s double and triple-time rhymes. Their debut album The Cellar Door is reportedly just around the corner, and judging from their early work, we’re looking at a straight-up NY hiphop renaissance. With Denzel Curry and Dillon Cooper. (Everyday Music) While youโre perusing Everyday Musicโs bins for ltd.-ed. Record Store Day releases (outta my way, I need that Rodion G.A. 10-inch!), you can also hear some of Seattleโs most interesting musicians. Everyone on the billโs strong, but the closing three actsโpsychedelic soul-jazz shapeshifters Afrocop (6:30 pm), astral/motorik rockers New Weather (7:30 pm), and an expanded-lineup version of perverse ethno-trance shamans Master Musicians of Bukkake (8:30 pm)โreally make this an essential visit. And itโs freeโฆ though youโll likely spend a lot of loot on the RSD merch. DAVE SEGAL

(El Corazรณn) If the collective reputation of the Dillinger Escape Plan and Trash Talkโs live sets are any indication, donโt expect this gig to be contained by merely a stage. Whether itโs TT front/wild man Lee Spielman scaling monitors and diving without fear or DEP singer/screamer Greg Puciato breathing fire and literally walking on the heads of his fans, thereโs bound to be some sort of full-contact activity to go along with the hardcore ferocity of both bands. Show up early to check out Justin Pearson from the Locustโs new project, a stripped-down sonic assault known as Retox. KEVIN DIERS

(Neumos) It’s too often a letdown when the words “(DJ set)” follow the name of an artist known for their production chops and original beats, but Brighton’s Bonobo is a welcome exception. With mixing skills that rival if not equal his musical prowess and a deep catalog of both his own (his 2013 The North Borders was his fifth full-length) and other artists’ prime cuts, his sets are shifting, seamless blends of textured, danceable downtempo selections and club-ready re-edits. Local DJs J-Justice (City Soul, SunTzu Sound) and D’Nelski (Hush Hush Records) are some of the finest talents currently gracing Seattle’s radio waves (Justice on 91.3 KCBS, D’Nelski on 90.3 KEXP), and should start things off on a high note with their opening sets.
