  10. Oh, fuck off. They’re donating **100%** of the proceeds. That’s more than you’re doing. Liquor is expensive. If they can recoup some of the costs in food, more power to them.

  12. Andrew from Liberty here. Perhaps it’s a bit impolitic to say so, but what the hell is wrong with that guy at #10? Seriously? You’re so cynical that you see the world like this? What is that like, I do wonder, to see something negative behind every tree, behind every leaf and in front of you all day long? Please DO allow me to clarify – 100% of the proceeds, just like Bethany said, ‘One hundred percent of the proceeds of “the Haiti” go to a relief organization.’, and we’re using Barbencourt 8yr Haitian rum! Seriously, #10, you should not just be ashamed of yourself, but perhaps speak to someone about this negativity – surely it can’t be helping you. Imagine what positive action could be achieved if everyone did a little bit, I donate 100% of the proceeds of a cocktail, while you do what you can to do something positive as does the person next to you and on and on… No one person may be able to donate thousands of dollars, but together we can do SOMETHING, and I intend to do what I can. Thanks for those of you who have come by and helped in this small way.

  13. This is a great sentiment, but I agree with treacle and onion. text “HAITI” to 90999 and give your money directly to the red cross instead of taking it out of Liberty’s rum budget.
