Compared with recent years, May Day 2017 was relatively calm. Still, big crowds show up for the day’s numerous protests. Photographer and regular Stranger contributor Nate Gowdy caught two of them: The annual March for Workers and Immigrants Rights and Seattle’s first (and hopefully last) Stand Against Communism rally at Westlake Plaza.
