  1. The Confucius Peace Prize isn’t completely new, but if Putin collects it he’ll be the first recipient to bother. The Grauniad article is a bit unfair on him, though – he was only Prime Minister, not President, for the war in South Ossetia (even if he was telling Medvedev what to do).

  2. I am not blaming the victims.

But here I ask…what 10 year old stands still in a shower while some fat old guy mounts him?

When I was ten I didn’t even let my Dad touch me…instead of kissing, we shook hands when saying good night at bedtime. For me and my friends, at 10, anything even slightly old, was gross, disgusting and fled from.

    So, I ask…

  3. @3 – Seriously? If it was that easy, there would be no crime in the world. Who lets anyone rape them, for fuck’s sake? Or rob them, or mug them, or kidnap them, or shoot them. These are all things to be fled from. But they happen because fleeing or fighting back isn’t always possible. Real life isn’t Home Alone & rapists/criminals aren’t the wet bandits you strangely unempathetic douchebag.

  4. @3 Young, effeminate and starved for attention and male affection. Children are human, too, friend. I would have done it. Happily. But children’s judgement is not developed and adults are supposed to know better. And parents who ignore or constantly berate their children set themselves up for this.

I love the subtext to your argument: “If everyone was like me, there would be no problems in the world!” Great, a world full of narcissistic self-righteous idiots. It would implode under the overbearing weight of loserdom.

  6. @12, I was trolling on Usenet before you were born, sugarplum, and I can assure you that Bailo isn’t trolling. He speaks from deep down in his what-the-fuck heart.

  7. I love living in a country where they can call in counter terrorism task force units to crack down on peaceful protestors and literally turn off all media feed for an hour …

It smells like … wait for it … Freedom.

Or was it something else … hmmm.

You can “killfile” them, but that’s dependent on your Usenet reader.
