Totally dick move by Brownback, but it’s typical of these shits. Something happens that offends them, and rather than just moving on, they spend their time and energy trying to get revenge. (See Bachmann, Reichert, et al.)

Regarding the Brownback story… The student was ASKED to apologize. I’ve read other coverage of the story, and it seems that the student has refused to apologize, seeing as how it’s her 1st amendment right to voice her opinion. Of course, I’m sure that somehow she will be forced to apologize, because, you know, freedom of speech only seems to apply to large corporations and rich, old white men…

The Chevy Volt’s New Normal
The Chevy Volt caught fire in the NHTSA’s storage yard THREE DAYS AFTER THE TEST! They’ve had trouble recreating the fire but they want to test all cars with lithium-ion batteries anyway.
I think this is a bit unfair they keep talking like it’s the new Pinto or something.
