Get your flu shot, you idiot: The flu is all types of evil this year. This flu season is seeing the highest activity in 10 years. More and more people are falling ill and flu season hasnโ€™t even reached its peak activity. According to the Washington Department of Health, 109 have died in Washington due to the flu this year. Vaccinate yourself! Your kids! Your dog!

More than one in 10 Washington college students has experienced depression: A new survey is serving as a baseline for Washington colleges and their mental health resources. It found, of the 10,000 students surveyed, that four out of five students said emotional distress impacted their academic work. A third said they suffered from depression. Five percent said they contemplated taking their own life. There are two bills currently in the legislature that would increase campus mental health services. This new information comes just two weeks after Washington Stateโ€™s Tyler Hilinskiโ€™s death.

Where do homeless families go? Well, first, they call the Emergency Family Shelter Line and reach Sherry Tillman. She works at Maryโ€™s Place and focuses on getting families with young children shelter. Oftentimes, she is the first point of contact โ€” the first rung on the ladderโ€” for someone trying to pull themselves out of homelessness. But, it’s never possible to help anyone. A lot of her job is trying to offer options and alternatives for people who are struggling. Read more about her work and her story here.

Wet in Western Washington: Brace yourselves โ€” er, well, keep bracing yourselves โ€” the rainy weather is continuing. Thereโ€™s a chance you might see the sun if youโ€™re lucky. Although, at this point, the sun might be a myth we made up collectively.

This all raises the question of whether weโ€™ll see that Super Moon: On Wednesday, thereโ€™s a Super Blue Blood Moon event. Which sounds metal as fuck. And, it apparently is metal as fuck. This rare lunar event hasnโ€™t happened for 150 years. We will most likely (read: definitely) miss it. Thanks, clouds.

More weather havoc: The rain is verging on excessive. I love it, but itโ€™s a lot. Amtrak workers agree. They had to shut down the route from Bellingham to Vancouver, B.C. because a mudslide blocked the tracks. The route wonโ€™t be opened until Wednesday.

The State of the Union Uniom is tonight: Are you prepared? Is Trump? I guess weโ€™ll just have to wait and see. The bar is being set incredibly low so expect people to be pleasantly surprised this time tomorrow after they see that Trump can read. But, whoever printed the State of the Uniom tickets certainly can’t spell.

Keep an eye out for the impeachment ads: Billionaire Tom Steyer is running during the State of the Union. Heโ€™s dumped $40 million into his impeachment ad campaign which spans more than just the SOTU. Thatโ€™s something I think we can all agree is useless and the money would be better spent doing literally anything else.

Notorious RBG will not be in attendance: Thatโ€™s right, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is opting out of Trumpโ€™s State of the Union tonight. Sheโ€™s going to Rhode Island to speak to some law students instead. Iโ€™m sure it will be far more rewarding.

Washington Senator Maria Cantwell will be there: And sheโ€™s invited Maru Mora-Villalpando, an undocumented local immigrant rights activist, and Mora-Villalpandoโ€™s 20-year-old daughter as her guests for the evening.

Woody Allenโ€™s latest film might get dumped: Allen, and his alleged sexual abuse of daughter Dylan Farrow, are under intense scrutiny amidst the #MeToo and Timeโ€™s Up movements. His current film, โ€œA Rainy Day in New York,โ€ might not be released with all the controversy swirling around Allen and the actors who have worked for him. Many have apologized, denounced Allen, and donated their salaries to Time’s UP, including stars of the newest film, Timotheรฉ Chalamet and Selena Gomez.

Elite companies looking to break into the healthcare game: Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, and Berkshire Hathaway are breaking into the hot healthcare market. The three CEOs will be forming a new company that will provide better healthcare for their employees. There arenโ€™t plans to expand outside employees. Bezos said something about how the three โ€œshare the belief that putting our collective resources behind the countryโ€™s best talent can, in time, check the rise in health costs.โ€ Seems a little biased.

The drama of the โ€œPutin Listโ€: A list released last night contained the names of 210 top Russians as part of a sanctions law punishing Moscow for meddling in U.S. elections. The Countering Americaโ€™s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (Caatsa) was passed last August. Trump was against Caatsa. The โ€œPutin Listโ€ was ordered to be released Monday. Trump didnโ€™t release it until 10 minutes before midnight last night. Putin, in response to the list, is pissed. Most of Putinโ€™s long-standing allies are named in the list, it named 114 senior Russian political figures and 96 โ€œoligarchs.โ€ The Trump administration announced they <a href=”

Julian Assange DMโ€™d a Sean Hannity parody account: Assange, the head of WikiLeaks, slid into the twitter direct messages of a fake Sean Hannity account. The account was formed during a brief interlude when the real Hannityโ€™s twitter was taken down. Assange messaged the fake Hannity about dirt he had on Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat in the Russian investigation. The Daily Beast obtained screenshots from that conversation. Makes you wonder if Sean Hannity has been getting some hot tips from Julian Assange. Also makes you wonder how Assange feels after being catfished.

Hannity obviously had something to say

Pull an RBG and opt out of Trump’s speech by going to these great events: Like tonightโ€™s National Geographic Live: View From Above talk, Impromptu Evening with Joseph Keckler, Ahamefule J. Oluo, Kevin Buster, and Jason Cressey, and Consent Fest. Plus, ICYMI: The Hamilton lottery was announced yesterday and will begin this weekend.
