  1. @4: In your dreams, raindrop. At this point, a generic Republican would beat Obama, but fortunately for the country, all the Republican nominees are batshit insane. Except for Huntsman; him I like.

  2. @4, Well, yes, that *has* been the GOP strategy for the past three years, has it not? The issues which face America can be ignored whole-sale. The only true issue facing America, according to the GOP, is get Obama. Jobs? Economic collapse? Environmental disasters? Massive, wide-spread corruption of the democratic process? These are nothing compared to the terrifying prospect of having a black man as president.

The fact of the matter is that Obama is just slightly left of Reagan, and the GOP is a party of bigots. The only question remains, raindrop, Why do you hate America?

  3. I enjoyed the Seattle Times reporter’s timely Hempfest story about how taking $200 and no medical records to the 4Evegrgreen tent will get you a year’s medical-marijuana authorization. They’re still open until 8 tonight – I’m going down there to see if I can get an authorization myself, using my debit card and vague complaints of “perfunctory orgasm”.

  4. @9, I don’t know why I had to read about this in Biloxi, Mississippi’s hometown rag instead of Fairview Fanny, but I do hope you’ll take the opportunity to cleanse body as well as mind while you’re getting that green card:

And good luck with your, um, condition, by which I mean that the pot affects it not at all or makes it “worse.”

  5. That video is amazing, rob! I had no idea the Brunners were festivalizing their insistent wholeseomeness. I swear by their almond soap, but the foam thing reminded me of a drunken weekend surrounded by gringas in Acapulco….
