  1. Dick Cheney may not be entitled to actually rewrite history, but he’s certainly going to keep trying… as long as he’s walking the streets a free man. I’d like to see his future defense attorney take a page from Al Pacino in “…And Justice For All”:

My client, the “Honorable” Dick Cheney, should go right to fuckin’ jail! The son of a bitch is guilty!

  2. Vice President Cheney is one of the few patriots willing to stand up to this marxist homosexual jerk in the white house.

I’d LOVE to see him go toe to toe with Barry Soetoro over where his birth certificate is!

  3. Vice President Cheney is a patriot, and I admire him for speaking truth to power against the marxist homosexual in the white house.

I’d love to see him go toe to toe with Barry Soetoro over where his birth certificate is.

  4. Dear Sons ofLiberty:

Please explain. The second amendment referst to arms. Nuclear weapons are arms, right? So the second amendment means we can’t pass a law prohibiting ordinary citizens from keeping nuclear weapons in their home.

    Right?

You have ten minutes for this pop quiz.

  5. McGinn asking for a change in state law on city gun bans in parks, what a total waste of time. Mike, buddy! shut up about state law on things you can’t hope to win on!

At least focus on transit where you have a smidgeon of a chance.

  6. How exactly is banning guns in Seattle going to improve the economic climate in Seattle to allow more jobs to come here? How exactly does banning guns improve transit in Seattle or but real bike lanes on our streets and make public transit, cycling and walking more viable for everyone?

McGinn…get off the crack pipe man!

  7. Oh, and I’d just love to see them try to get MY guns!

This is how, I firmly believe, the “Civilian National Security Force” Hussein talked about during the campaign will emerge and be used.

I predict we will soon find out that McGinn is connected with this nefarious organization.

  8. But Cato, think of all those lawyers on the city payroll who would be out of work if they didn’t spend the next five years defending all the lawsuits that are sure to arise. Pfft, and you thought the city was broke.

  9. “Oh, and I’d just love to see them try to get MY guns!”

So would I! I’ve already seen it happen twice to gun-toting-by-god-it’s-my-right-as-a-merkin-cold-dead-hands-blablabla bloviators, and each time it’ ended with them cuffed, bleeding and crying in a corner (one even pissed himself) while law enforcement casually confiscated the firearms.

  10. “If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.”

  11. I think you misfiled the shark attack story; it should be the headline of the day: “Australian grandmother beats off attacking shark.”

  12. First time I’ve ever seen Rachael Maddow shut the fuck up…..
This morning she’s on one of the morning news shows (where she always embarrasses herself but seems oblivious to the fact…)
She’s ragging on some unknown Republican Congressman about hypocrisy over projects from the stimulus plan in his district and he asked her if she was going to return her portion of the Bush tax cuts she is always railing against.

    There was total silence.

  13. McGinn says the legislature should allow cities to ban them, following Friday’s gun ban reversal.

You know, it’s not just the Bill of Rights — this would also go against the state constitution. I’m not sure the legislature could allow cities to do that without amending the state constitution. Even assuming it passed the Second Amendment muster, which it might not.
