  1. @2: I hate to say it but…you’re an idiot. This speech was given 5 years ago. Unless Obama is a precog in addition to a good prez, he didn’t have a way to know what was coming in the future.

Meet the new boss, indeed. He’s better than the old boss already.

  2. Yeah, I remember that speech. I remember watching it and thinking “this guy is going to be president someday.” I just didn’t realize it would be so soon.

  3. I wish his inauguration speech had been this good.

One thing I noticed about this speech is that the only times its energy sags is when Obama is forced to talk about John Kerry and John Edwards.

  4. #3, i wasn’t talking about the fucking video. i was talking about the airstrike that happened 2 days ago, and the lack of a mention in the morning news.

remember back during the campaign when barack talked about how we can’t keep killing civilians in afghanistan? that’s what i’m talking about, douche. i voted for the guy, think he’s great yadda yadda, but i calls ’em like i sees ’em.

  5. The armed forces gradually take on the general attitude of the administration guiding it. So Abu Ghraib and massive civilian casualties were to be expected from an administration that didn’t care about details, or any costs of war. But again, this happens gradually. Hopefully we’ll start to see an almost immediate lessening of civilian losses in Afghanistan and Iraq. But there’s no guarantee that it’s going to happen anytime soon, unless Obama starts to demand swift punishment for most cases of neglect.

  6. Hah! He praises John Kerry as a hero when John Kerry was a treasonous traitor and a coward as the Swift Boat Vets ably proved.

Then as now, Barack Hussein Obama wants to sell this country out to the Marxists.

    OH GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWD!!!!!

Boy oh boy, what a great spank-off!

What will I do now? Think I’ll read this copy of Stranger for a while, hmm…

  8. #7: No, I think it needs to be restated that you’re an idiot. There have been no signs that Obama is anything like the old president. Now go away.
