It will never be done.
The original article actually emphasizes how small the differences in consumption are, but that’s just a quibble.
The real problem with Sullivan’s conclusion: If the study indicates anything about conservatives, it’s that they’re more likely to pay for internet porn.
News flash: Six-foot-tall muppet found strangled in Capitol Hill alley with empty PBR can stuffed in mouth. Leading suspect, scary tyler moore, is still at large, armed with a giant ego and therefore crazy dangerous. Stay away from the Pike-Pine corridor this weekend, lest you, too, should die by way of PBR asphyxiation!
Seems as though no one minds right wing gun nuts in the community:
The meeting this month will be held at the same location as last month on the 28th the last Saturday of the month. Time will be at 1 PM. I encourage all to show up. We will ge covering topics discussed last month and everyone should have the logo designs that were sent out. Along with this there will be other topics on the agenda. I also encourage everyone to invite a friend that is interested or co-worker etc. Membership right now is important if we are going to form a strong foundation. The location is: Charlie’s Bar & Grill on Seattle’s Broadway http://broadwaycharlies.com/about.htm
a landmark establishment for over thirty years. Charlie’s offers a fairly wide array of quality menu items, and can meet the needs of most palates.

Not all gun nuts are right-wingers. There are plenty of left-wing gun nuts too.
Gun nuts are actually people willing to stand up and fight against ever encroaching government, which ultimately leads to Soviet style totalitarianism.
And it’s coming people. Barack Hussein Obama shredded the constitutional requirement that a president must be a natural born citizen. He has gone to great lengths to conceal his Muslim faith, and he hates freedom. So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that an Islamic American Republic will be his primary legacy if good Americans don’t exercise their gun rights!
Meanwhile in news about asshats did anyone read this monrning’s P.I. about Amanda Knox and her bizarre behavior after her arrest?
http://newsource.com/local/401716_knox28…
Leaving aside the question of her guilt for a second those sort of antics after the death of her roommate are first class douchbaggery. If she is guilty I hope she never again sets foot on American soil. Of course then why wish her presence on Italy?
Linky no worky.
Speaking of links, certain Seattle P-I fans are apparently still waiting for that link.
Eli?
Man I hate libruls.
you are NOT pissing me off, cookie boy. you’re only making me laugh ’til i wet my pants. i just might invite you to my birthday party next month as part of the entertainment.
@7. Yup. I, for instance, am a left-wing gun nut.
I’m a libertarian (note: not a Libertarian) and while most of us are to a certain extent orthogonal to the conventional left-wing/right-wing dichotomy, because Democratic candidates tend to be centrist-y and Republican candidates (at least at the state and national level) tend to be batshit crazy, most of us wind up identifying much more with “liberal” causes and ideals than “conservative” ones.
Not trying to change any hearts and minds, but just pointing out that there are a bunch of us out there, we tend to side with “you” on most issues, but that certain issues play to the divisions between “us” and “you”- to the unfortunate benefit of Republicants.
I couldn’t have said it better myself, Sven.
Isn’t it *Elie* Wiesel? Not Eli?
@3 welcome to SLOG, Will (rest of pseudonym or name here).
As you can see there are a lot of us on here, so use a longer name, you’re not the first and you won’t be the last Will.
As to Pakistan/Afghanistan, we put this off way too long.
At this point, the only things that will work are: rebuild infrastructure (creates jobs, lowers terrorism) and focus entirely on al-Qaeda. The rest doesn’t matter and is NOT achievable.
