When I heard about the shooting at Southcenter in which again a young African American male was killed, and another will no doubt be spending 10-20 years in jail for I thought about all the effort people took to harp on Dan S. over his mentioning prop 8 exit polls. If all those people who have so much time to call him racist spent time when at risk teens like this, perhaps incidents like this would signifcantly be curtailed. Does anyone realize that most shooting victims in Seattle are young African American men? Does anyone know how many young men have died this way here , in the last year alone? And how many more will become incarcerated as a result of these acts? Yet so many people who claim they are advocating on behalf of African Americans spend more time haranging Dan over his Prop 8 articles……..

The women, likewise, have all those babies to show that someone loved them at one time – even if it was just for a few minutes.
After they get past the cute age, and start becoming teenagers, they are pretty much left to fend for themselves with often just a marginal public school where the teachers are also expected to be parents, to guide them.
