About the study you mention early in the podcast: maybe the being on the pill makes women more attractive to “doughy guys” over “neanderthals,” but it actually also makes them more attracted to guys who’re more likely to be nurturing to their offspring.
So, what was all that about it being bad for evolution, vs. say, keeping the kids alive longer and in homes with good parents…? Seems like a pretty good trade-off to me.
