This and the other podcasts aren’t working. I get “The requested URL /p/4/d/e/4defccfa683507a0/savagelove-010411.mp3 was not found on this server.” when trying to download this one. Thanks much!!
It’s spelled “transsexual.”
Helen Boyd is awesome, love your comments! I read “My Husband Betty” while dating my ex-girlfriend, who is trans. (fyi, our breakup had nothing to do with her gender/sexuality). Really a useful book. Personally, the only thing I found stressful about loving and being with a transsexual person was (is) the absolute idiocy and bigotry of others. Community education about sex and gender became an essential part of my life during this relationship and has remained so: the relationship ended, but others’ bigotry sure hasn’t. I am glad to see transgender issues becoming an increasing significant part of our cultural discourse in the US.
