Not all the porn entered into HUMP! is live-action. In fact, some of
the most popular entries in HUMP! have been animated: cupcakes in
flagrante, enormous vaginas violating the Space Needle. This year, one
animated entry in particular left the HUMP! submission committee
buckled over in laughter. AFP takes two of sci-fi’s most
popular characters and… well, we’d hate the ruin the surprise for
you. Let’s just say you will be shocked. You’ll also be laughing.
Here’s a brief interview with the film’s director, the enigmatic
“Pastey Boy.”
How long have you been an animator?
About six months.
Are you self-taught?
Yeah. I really have no idea what I’m doing. I do comic books, too,
and my friend and I had the idea to start animating some of them. It’s
sort of evolved from these really short 30-second clips into longer
ones.
Is this your first attempt at pornography?
Animated pornography, yes.
Have you done nonanimated pornography?
Most of my comics are, like, penis jokes, crude jokes. So I’m not
straying too far off. My comedic range stretches between dick and fart
jokes.
Where did you find your inspiration for AFP?
It started as a little comic I drew really quickly. Then someone
suggested I turn it into a short animation. I probably had a few beers
in me at the time—probably more than a few.
Do you watch porn yourself?
Well, yeah.
How often?
Pretty frequently. I’m single right now, so probably a lot.
Are you looking forward to HUMP!?
I’m looking forward to it, but I’m also dreading it at the same
time. I love pornography, but there’s pornography and there’s amateur
porn. Amateur porn can be pretty gross.
Why do you think your film should win?
I don’t know if it should. But I think it’s funny. It’s animated and
colorful and I think people will like it.
