I like how the image that The Stranger chose to use for this is a depiction of a black woman committing violence against a white woman. Way to go, Stranger, you’re soooooooooooo “Progressive”.

@2 – it’s obviously supposed to be Dionne Foster kicking Sara Nelson in the face.
In fact, in The Stranger’s endorsement of Foster, the authors literally use violent language against Nelson in the very first sentence of the article (“KO’d”):
“Seattle will not have a functional city government until Sara Nelson is KO’d so far out of our political orbit that she’ll be nothing more than a footnote…”

That is definitely Dionne Foster kicking Sara Nelson in the face. How delightful.
I’ve reached out to the Foster campaign about this. I’m just assuming it was made without her knowledge / permission.
If Dionne Foster wins, then The Stranger should be super-ultra-progressive and make a graphic of Sara Nelson, blindfolded with her hands tied behind her back, standing against a wall, while Dionne Foster executes her with a rifle. Bonus progressive points for extra blood spray depicted!
