Born in Guadalajara and based partly in Southern California and partly in Mexico, brothers Einar and Jamex de la Torre make barbed, eye-popping, anything-but-delicate glass sculptures by throwing together flaming Catholic symbolism, American street culture, Aztec-iana, porn, border politics, and whatever the fuck else is on their minds (testicular cancer, gambling, Fox News, Valentine’s Day).
