KINGS is the one-night-only extravaganza that will gather celebrated male burlesque performers from all over the world onto the swanky stage of the Triple Door. On the bill: NYC’s the Evil Hate Monkey (an abused circus monkey turned furiously liberated primate), Australia’s Captain Kidd (the self-proclaimed “brat child of Aussie circus and burlesque”), Chicago’s aggressively panracial Stage Door Johnnies, Portland’s Russell Bruner (the world’s current Best Boylesque title holder), and Seattle’s own Waxie Moon. Hosting the evening: London writer, musician, and performance artist Mat Fraser. (Triple Door, 216 Union St, tripledoor.net, 8 pm, $25–$35, 17+)
