This November, Ballard will get an extra jolt of sonic excitement and diversity from Freakout Festival, returning for the seventh year from November 14–17.
This year’s lineup was just announced this morning, and it’s another dependable showcase of Seattle’s eclectic, burgeoning music scene, with up-and-coming acts from the US, Mexico, and the UK now in the mix.
Highlights include sets by the heavenly Tijuana shoegaze group Mint Field, Vancouver dream-rock band Frankiie, and local robust funk-jazz ensemble Khu.éex’.
