This spoken word event is inspired by Art AIDS America at Tacoma Art Museum, and will feature performances by queer poets, along with discussion led by a representative from the Tacoma Art Museum.
The Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition
Dozens of caroling teams “singing their hearts out for cash donations” to benefit the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank.

*Film Festival at Frye Art Museum
During the first weekend of the Genius Film Festival, the Frye Art Museum celebrates the work of the cinematographer Ben Kasulke and the director Lynn Shelton. As Charles Mudede says, “The internationally recognized filmmakers played a central role in shaping and defining the contemporary cinema of our region.” (Through Sunday)
Sasquatch Saturdays
Get ready for the holidays with this Northwest take on the season, featuring cooking demos, live music, and a chance to take your photo with the elusive Sasquatch.
Holiday Party and Tree Lighting
Ring in the holidays at West Seattle Junction! Shop, eat, and stroll. At 5 pm, make sure to come to the Junction Plaza Park for a festive tree lighting, complete with cookies and cocoa.

Turbo Turkey Presents Holiday Comedy Xtravaganza
Long form and short form improv, with some sketch thrown in there for good measure, brought to you by Turbo Turkey. ($5)

Nosh on homemade tacos from culinary star Tarik Abdullah, listen to the musical stylings of Sebastian and the Deep Blue, and buy $50 works from local artists…all to benefit Community Arts Create, the organization that brings you the Backstreet Bazaar.
The Krampus
“Keep Seattle wicked” at this latest version of the Mourning Market. There will be fifty bags of free, morbid goodies given away when the doors open, and the usual dark and macabre vendors on hand as well. ($1)
Speakeasy Series: Collectives, Co-Ops, and Collaborations
