FRIDAY
1. 2nd Anniversary of Watershed Pub & Kitchen
In honor of Watershed Pub & Kitchen’s second anniversary, they’ll have happy hour drink prices ($1 off drafts, wells, and wine) all day Friday and Saturday, as well as chances to try their anniversary beer, a ‘Shed Stout from Hale’s Ales that’s been aged in bourbon barrels from Woodinville Whiskey Co. and JP Trodden Distilling. There will also be free live music all weekend from Watershed staff bands and other local musicians. (Maple Leaf, free)
2. Bernie Sanders: “A Future to Believe In” Rally
Sanders is not messing around with the Washington caucuses—he’s back for another rally in Seattle, just days after his appearance at KeyArena. (Downtown, free)
3. Happy Hour: Michel Navedo
Trumpeter/singer/songwriter Michel Navedo, who combines his Puerto Rican heritage with his New Orlenas upbringing into a distinct bossa nova style, plays a free set in the lounge. (Downtown, free)
4. National Tolkien Reading Day
Capitol Hill comedian and “resident wizard” Emmett Montgomery will read his favorite chapters from the Lord of the Rings trilogy, followed by a screening of Ralph Bakshi’s 1978 The Fellowship of the Rings. Raygun Lounge promises that this will “surely be an exciting confluence of the spoken word, literature, and high magic.” (Capitol Hill, free)
5. The True Romans
Rock cover band The True Romans, which consists of a rotating lineup of musicians from other Seattle bands, plays a free set in the Musicquarium Lounge. (Downtown, free)
6. Galleria: An Evening of Drag as Performance Art
Rather than screaming, “YAAAAS QUEEN SLAY,” you’ll be far more likely to muse, “Yes, but what does it all mean?” Local drag artist faves Butylene O’Kipple, Arson Nicki, and Harlotte O’Scara promise an unconventional space and fresh perspectives, which is drag queen for “Nobody is going to believe your stories when you tell people about this.” MATT BAUME (Capitol Hill, $5)
7. SIN: Darkness and Decadence
Get ready to go full martyr for the Good Friday edition of Kremwerk’s fetish-industrial-EBM-goth night, SIN: Darkness & Decadence. Drinks, dancing, and a photo booth will all be at your disposal during all-night fetish performances, with DJ Shane and DJ Eyktan spinning on the decks. (Downtown, $5)
8. Dreadful Children, Not A Part of It, The Dee Dee’s, and Bad Motivators
Tonight’s show features the “pure, old school, unbridled Punk Rock” of Dreadful Children, and The Dee Dee’s, “Seattle’s only all female Ramones tribute band.” (Eastlake, $6-$8)
9. Terrasone, Manson’s Girls, Mammoth Salmon, and Teacher
PNW sludge from Terrasone, stoned metal from Tacoma’s Manson’s Girls, sludge/doom from Portland’s Mammoth Salmon, and heavy music from Seattle’s Teacher. (West Seattle, $7)
10. Autoerotique: Bgeezy, Conner Thomas, DNA, Drew, and Koister
Autoerotique (previously known as ICON Fridays) is said to embody the celebration every Seattle partygoer is looking for in the weekend’s wild possibilities. (Capitol Hill, $10)
11. Nap Eyes and Cian Nugent
Nap Eyes, an alternative folk group from Nova Scotia, call themselves “the greatest band you’ve never heard.” Tonight, they’ll play a show to promote their new full-length album Whine of the Mystic, along with Irish guitarist and composer Cian Nugent, fresh off of his SXSW stint. (Capitol Hill, $10)
SATURDAY
12. BunnyCon: The Easter Bunny Bar Hop 2016
A 14-hour bar crawl, because what else do you do to prepare for Easter? Rule #1 on the ticket page: “My name is Bunny. Your name is Bunny. We are Bunny. Who’s in charge here? Bunny!” (Downtown, free-$10)
13. ECCC Crusaders Party
Prepare for Emerald City Comicon at this party featuring special comic guests Kevin Konrad Hanna, Dev and Karin Madan, Justin NOrman, and Jen Vaughn. There will be cosplay contests and a chance to win tickets to Comicon. (Ballard, free)
14. First Folio Community Day
The Central Library hosts this family-friendly community day as part of First Folio, a series of events centered around the exhibition of the first collected edition of Shakespeare’s plays. Come for live performances, music, art-making, immersive and interactive displays, and more. (Downtown, free)
15. Free State Park Day
Take advantage of the first Saturday of spring and go to the Columbia Gorge, the Olympic Rainforest, Deception Pass, or any other Washington State Park—for free. (Various locations, free)
16. Low Hums, Echo Ravine, and The Gathered Ghosts of Javier Suarez
Expect a night of dreamy psych-rock and fuzzy pop at Parliament Tavern. (West Seattle, no cover)
17. Mixed Bag
Be a part of the live, studio audience for this variety show filmed for Buddy & Buddy Productions. The show will feature sketch comedy from Hannah Schnabel, Mike Weber, and Chris Walker, music from The Drop Shadows and Mississippi Jones, and stop-motion video from Steve Mauer. 19. Spread Thick

20. Tiffany Midge with Chrystos and Storme Webber

21. Voulez-Vous Boogaloo
Petite Maudite presents the Voulez-Vous Boogaloo. DJ Michael Chrietzberg and DJ Mike Nipper from Emerald City Soul Club will be spinning mod, popcorn, and ’60s French pop tracks from 10pm to 2am at Gainsbourg. (Greenwood, free)
22. Legion Within CD Release
Darkwave band The Legion Within will celebrate the release of their new album along with fellow Seattle electronic and techno bands Murder Vibes and In Black. (Pioneer Square, $5)
23. Ubu Roi Farewell Show
Ubu Roi, a band that has been “shredding faces, slaying riffs, and ripping zongs” for over five years, is kicking the bucket. They’ll play their final show with Versing and bod. (Capitol Hill, $7)
24. KINGS
With spring approaching, a young boifriend’s fancy lightly turns to flights of love, and the romantic March edition of drag king showcase, KINGS! Your ticket to this impassioned strip-down also gets you into Kiss Off at 10pm. Cash prizes up to $250 will be awarded to audience members with the best themed costumes, and a portion of the night’s proceeds will go to The NW Network of Bisexual, Trans, Gay, and Lesbian Survivors of Abuse. 25. Brothers in Law, Crescendo, and Deer Park

Raise money for Seattle Animal Shelter and Special Bunny Rescue at this festive event promising an egg hunt, lots of activities and arts n’ crafts, raffle, and most importantly, real live bunnies to play with and visit. (Downtown, $10)
28. Golden Gardens, Jupe Jupe, and Wind Burial
Melancholy electronic pop outfit Golden Gardens headlines a night of skewed art-rock at Substation. (Ballard, $10)

29. Ladies Night

30. The Pizza Pulpit: season of strangers and Hannah Racecar
The Crocodile presents an evening of shoegaze/dreampop in the Back Bar. (Belltown, free)
31. Spring Fever
Live painting, local art, music, kids’ activities, and food & drink from Seamonster are promised at Spring Fever. (Wallingford, free)
32. Stiffed Easter Sunday Tea Dance
Kremwerk will host an Easter edition of their Sunday Tea Dances, which harken back to the tradition of gay men in the 1970s who “were consciously rebelling against the effete stereotypes associated with the manicured, sweater-wearing, tea-drinking gays of the Fire Island set,” and instead wore T-shirts and drank beer—on Sunday afternoons, in order to make the most of the weekend and still make it to work the next day. Kremwerk’s free Tea Dance will feature disco music from DJs Dana Dub and Pavone and a $1 beer bust. (Downtown, free)
33. Resurrection Day Market
Macabre artists and crafters will be selling handmade goods, including vintage occult relics, bones, and vinyl. DJ Coldheart will provide the music, and there will be a Bloody Mary bar and mimosas. There are also rumors of vegetarian and vegan food trucks. (Capitol Hill, free entry)
34. Kill the Keg: Sayonara, Dead Spells, Post Boredom, and Quid Quo

Murder in the Wood call themselves a garage/punk band, and claim, “We like to be loud, we like to sound pretty, you might be compelled to dance, we’re more jaded than angry.” (Capitol Hill, $7)
36. Church of HONK!: A Brassy Easter Service
HONK! Fest West’s Easter concert features an adult Easter egg hunt, “fancy cocktails,” and live music from brass bands Filthy FemCorps, Chaotic Noise Marching Corps, The m9 and Butt Dial. You’re encouraged to wear your Easter best (bonnets and white gloves if you have them)! (Columbia City, $8)
37. Go!Zilla, Actionesse, Tamar Aphek, and Big White
Florentine fuzz/psych rock band Go!Zilla comes to Seattle on their US tour. (Eastlake, $8)

Listen to DJs Ryan Schutte (of MetalShop) and Joe Grindo (of metal bands THEORIES and Samothrace) spin metal while you enjoy all-you-can-eat breakfast for $10.
