This Sunday, January 20, will mark Trump’s third year in office, which means community members will once again gather in protest of the injustices committed under the current administration. This year’s Womxn’s March Seattle is ramping up from one single rally and march to three days of activities (from Jan 19-21). You’ll find all the details about those events below, as well as other ways to give back to the community and learn about the experiences of marginalized groups, from Planned Parenthood and Shout Your Abortion’s Roe on the Rocks to the Winter Write-In with Write Our Democracy: State of the Union. Plus, check out our list of MLK Day events or our complete resistance calendar for even more options.
THURSDAY
Beer Trumps Hate
For every pint of Rooftop Brewing’s Imperial Peach Mint IPA you drink, the Red Door will donate one dollar to Queen Anne Helpline, which offers financial and supportive services to community members in need. They’ll also have some poster-making materials available if you want to make a Womxn’s March sign.
