  1. omg palin on cbs! omg omg omg. listen to her answers: “who is your favorite vp in history?” no answer! oh my fucking god! “best and worst things about cheney?”: hunting accident. HAHAHAHAH! you are so fucking cute Sarah Palin!

  2. Oh God, I’m just not sure I’m going to be able to listen to her talk for 90 minutes. Come back to me, LiveSlog! Help me through this!

  3. Alright, three minutes in and already she has blown a kiss, referenced a kid’s soccer game, and said something like “you betcha”.

  4. “get down and get to business”

    “darn right”

it’s annoying me that Biden’s not looking at the camera like Obama was doing so last week.

  5. @ The Conservative Party

These people aren’t even listening to Biden. The entire room yells “liar” every time he opens his mouth about taxes, which is, of course, everybody’s only in this room.

No matter what fact is stated against McCain and Palin, the room sides with Palin. Cheers for Palin when she’s finished, boos for Biden before he finishes. This is what you need to be remembering. This is how they think. This. Is. Scary.

  6. But, Mr. Poe, don’t you think the same sort of thing is happening for the other side at places where the Democrats are gathered? It seems like I remember from LiveSlog last week that people were commenting on the jeers and cheers from the Democrats.

  7. I’m just glad Palin pushed her hair out of her eyes because it was totally distracting watching her blink and have that hair jump around.

  8. @stephen_lee — That one’s at capacity, too. I bet it has something to do with the credit crisis.

    Frickin’ liveblog investors.

  9. She sounds like the mom on the sidelines at her kid’s soccer game who’s lecturing the other moms while they all roll their eyes– lots of talking about herself, and no addressing of the issues at all while slicing someone she doesn’t like to pieces.

  10. Live Slog widget isn’t working for me.

She’s totally just repeating memorized talking points. She hasn’t got anything. The folksy smarm makes me want to commit violence.
