Between Two Worlds: A David Lynch Tribute
Pike Place’s hidden gem bar and theater the Rabbit Box will pay homage to David Lynch’s haunting, dream-like work with music from the “cool, dark, and Roadhouse-worthy” band Dead Spells, “angular and ethereal grooves” from Tacoma group Von Wildenhaus, a “horror-soundtrack-tinged” synth and vocal set from producer Leeni with visuals by filmmaker Ethan Hawthorne, and a performance from guest singer and performance artist Adé A Cônnére. As if that’s not enough, singer-songwriter and Lynch muse Rebekah Del Rio, who was featured in both Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks: The Return, will make an appearance, and choreographer/comedian Jen Nelson will emcee as the Log Lady. You can also look forward to a costume contest, a special cocktail menu, a photo booth, and pie from Snohomish’s Pie Dive Bar.
The Rabbit Box Theatre, Pike Place Market, 5–11 pm
