If red carpets and caviar service aren’t in your budget, there are still lots of things to do for New Year’s Eve that won’t cost you more than $15. From our New Year’s Eve calendar, here are 14 free and cheap events, like Cafe Pettirosso’s Black Market Brewery Night, the family-friendly First Night Tacoma festival, and Seattle Center’s fireworks celebration.

Don’t miss your chance to brah out with some Bearracudas this NYE. ($10)
2. Black Market Brewery Night
Cafe Pettirosso’s New Year’s bash includes drinks, delicious dinners, and damned talented DJs. ($5)
3. New Year’s Eve at Fadó Irish Pub
Live music, party favors, and a champagne toast at midnight. ($10/$15)
4. First Night Tacoma
This family-friendly event (no booze + definitely no drugs) promises “fire, ice, music, & dance” throughout a number of Tacoma venues. ($10/$14)
5. New Year’s Eve Celebration at Seattle Center
The Machine performs their dance-rock hybrid, then the fireworks go off. A fool-proof recipe for New Year’s Eve fun. (Free)
6. New Year’s Eve at HPIC!
This free New Year’s Eve event from the Highland Park Improvement Club promises a participatory parade, a festival of light, two DJs, a costume contest, and of course, drinks with and without alcohol. (Free)
7. New Year’s Eve at Hummingbird Saloon
Celebrate the New Year’s with excellent local reggae. (Free)
8. New Year’s Eve at POCO Wine + Spirits
Imbibe champagne and cocktails, while noshing on small plates and taking in the music. (There’s no cover charge for this event, but you’ll have to pay to get sloshed.)
9. New Year’s Eve at Stout
Stout expands on their regular weekend fare with DJ ePop to bring you this NYE celebration featuring brews, booze, and festivities. (Free entry before 9 pm)
10. New Year’s Eve at Tini Bigs & Hula Hula
Tini Bigs and Hula Hula offer two bars for the price of one this New Year’s Eve. They’ll also have a DJ, karaoke, a full food menu, and a great view of the fireworks. ($10)
11. New Year’s Eve Karaoke
Mr. Nagy leads Hillman City’s awesome Union Bar through a NYE karaoke night. (Free)
12. Old Pequliar New Year’s Eve
DJ Phatti LaBelle helps the Old Pequliar ring in the New Year. 21+ only. (Free)
13. The One and Only ’80s Invasion
What better way to celebrate our headlong dive into the future than to reminisce about that greatest of American decades with ’80s Invasion. ($10/$15)
14. Weener and The Salt Riot
“Seattle’s brownest Ween tribute cover band” plays a cheap n’ easy New Year’s at Seattle’s finest dive. ($5)
