Famous for his stint on Saturday Night Live—including his recurring role as Chad, a doofus bro who guilelessly says “Okay” to almost everything—Pete Davidson exudes a casual swagger that enhances his stonerrific observations. His bit about figuring out a way to discreetly jack off while living with roommates is hysterical. In fact, Ariana Grande’s ex has loads of great material about masturbation. Being young and apolitical, Davidson’s sets typically revolve around subjects such as drugs, his relationship with his mother, his skinniness, his ambiguous looks (“I’m miscellaneous in the face”), rap, sex, schoolboy shenanigans, and the tragic aftereffects of losing his father in the 9/11 attacks.
