The House will flip come November--that's pretty well baked in--and then Rep Larsen will finally Chair the House Transportation Committee. If you prioritize high speed rail from PDX to Vancouver and other PNW mass transit projects, now is not the time to switch horses for a back bencher.

If Binda, a Lynnwood “city” council member who has admitted to campaign violations (as well as some poor / youthful decisions), is the best progressives can muster, then we’re in bad shape.

I’m hoping the young man puts in more work for his current constituents before trying for higher office (and I would suggest shooting for county council as the next political move - see Mosqueada).

Haaretz reports that the IDF has set up “kill zones” in Gaza where they just shoot anything that moves, with an IDF reserve officer saying the number of Hamas members Israel claims to have killed is massively inflated because
