Graves is full of shit. Bob Hasegawa, knowing that redistricting might affect him, has sold his house on Beacon Hill and has moved to Renton, which is in the heart of the 11th District.

Its all so absurd. There's got to be a better way than this districting thing. For U.S. House, whole state should be one big district with proportional representation. Then they could dispense with this whole line-drawing farce.

@5: Redistricting is democracy. Otherwise, tyranny of the majority.

@6 proportional representation is not the same as many citywide or statewide races.
