Done.

I'm happy to hear it. Sure, Darryl Hannah didn't chain herself to anything like Choi, but the Parks Department had better have a damn good reason for suddenly federalizing charges just for him.

Sure they won't prosecute Darryl Hannah, but Bill McKibben the leader of the anti-KeystoneXL protests can't rest easy.

Repealing DADT affected no corporation's bottom line and was something Obama actually wanted to do. The administration was just holding the issue for when they really needed a bone to throw for their supporters. For when they turned around and did something truly vile like approving the KeystoneXL pipeline. They were pissed that Dan Choi and others forced the issue sooner than they preferred(Good for him!).

The Administration WANTS to approve KeystoneXL. The State Department released an enthusiastic report this week and millions of campaign donations from energy companies are riding on Obama getting it through. They are equally or more pissed at environmentalists and immigration activists for following Choi's example and pushing their issues.

First of all Dan, there is no such thing as a "trail" judge, you incompetent, faggot. Stick to writing about Santorum or whatever the fuck your perverted ass does.

Second of all, Choi is a media whore who broke the law. Fucking suffer the consequences, biatch.

Don't you mean "trial" and not "trail"?

An obscure law? Dan, with thousands of threats against this President, you think the Park Service should just ignore when people chain themselves to the fence of the White House? Choi, naively, calls that action "Free Speech" and says he shouldn't be arrested for it. Really? Would you support not arresting TEA Party crazies if they chained themselves to the White House? What if someone chained themselves to the gate at the doorway to The Stranger offices? How quickly would you have them taken away in handcuffs if they refused to leave?

The man's career was wiped out because of DADT and he was supposed to just slink away quietly. They don't have to make an issue of him; they could have just had him taken away and then dropped the charges. What the foot dragging, to end that law, has cost him is awful and I applaud his demonstrations.

He's getting threatened with jail time because he protested in military uniform. That is for some reason a violation of some code hence the proposed jail time. Darryl Hannah who is not a member of the military is therefore not going to be tried or go to jail for protesting. Dan Choi's current legal woes have nothing to do with his homosexuality and everything to do with his breach of some code that prohibits protesting in military uniform.

Please wait...
