I have to admit it: The Bon Marche Star (there was no Macy's star) always annoyed me. It was hokey and mid-western (not in a good way) and always too bright in the center. It was the sort of thing that Seattle's #2 department store would have.
With that said, I'm kinda/sorta glad that it's back, even though the building it is attached to is a sad testimony to Macy's complete and utter failure to understand the markets that it operates in (that, and the fact that the building was worth a lot more than the store that was contained within).
